Airline Identity
History
Airlinair was founded in December 1998 and began operations on 30 April 1999 as a French regional carrier operating ATR 72/42 turboprops and Beechcraft 1900Ds from bases at Paris-Orly and Lyon-Saint Exupéry. Air France progressively acquired the airline, taking a majority 60.14% stake in late 2012, before merging Airlinair's operations, together with sister regional carriers Régional and Brit Air, into the newly created HOP brand on 31 March 2013.
Current Operations
Airlinair no longer exists as an operating airline. Its routes, aircraft, and staff are today part of Air France's regional brand HOP, which continues to serve French domestic and European regional markets under the Air France umbrella.
