History

Twin Jet was founded in May 2001 by Olivier Manaut and Éric Moret and is headquartered at Aix-en-Provence in southern France, entering the regional aviation market with small turboprop and regional jet equipment to serve French domestic routes underserved by the major carriers. The airline grew steadily over the following decade and a half, and in January 2017 it acquired and absorbed French competitor Hex'Air, expanding its route network and fleet capacity. It has since established itself as a durable independent regional operator connecting secondary French cities to larger hubs.

Current Operations

Twin Jet operates a fleet of Beechcraft 1900D turboprops and Embraer ERJ145 regional jets, running roughly 250 flights a week primarily on domestic French routes, with international service to Bologna, Venice, and Milan in Italy. It maintains operating bases at Marseille, Lyon, Strasbourg, and Le Puy-en-Velay, and continues to operate as an independent regional carrier rather than as part of a larger airline group.
