Airline Identity
History
Business Air was a Thai international scheduled and charter carrier founded around 2008, flying Boeing 767 aircraft from Bangkok's Suvarnabhumi Airport primarily on North Asia routes, and it used the callsign THAI BIZ (recorded in the source as "BusinessAir"/ICAO BCC).
Current Operations
Business Air no longer operates. Mounting unpaid debts — including fuel surcharges, air traffic control fees and aircraft-lessor payments totaling more than 1 billion Thai baht — led regulators to suspend the airline in January 2015; although a court briefly permitted a resumption of flights, the carrier was rebranded as Intira Airlines under new ownership in June 2015, but the rebranded operation never actually launched service and the business ceased permanently.
