Overview
Sanad Aerotech is Abu Dhabi's flagship engine MRO business, wholly owned by Mubadala Investment Company and rebranded from Mubadala Aerospace's Turbine Services & Solutions unit in November 2019, building on roots tracing back to Gulf Aircraft Maintenance Company (GAMCO). It performs maintenance, repair and overhaul on commercial and industrial gas turbines and has signed strategic expansion agreements with major OEMs including CFM International, GE Aerospace and Pratt & Whitney. A February 2025 engine-MRO agreement with Pratt & Whitney is expected to create over 1,000 new jobs in Abu Dhabi, underscoring Sanad's role in the UAE's aerospace industrial strategy as of 2026.
