Etihad Engineering

Overview

Etihad Engineering is the aircraft maintenance arm of Etihad Airways, based at Zayed International Airport in Abu Dhabi, offering airframe heavy checks, component MRO, engineering design, cabin modification and paint services for widebody types including the Boeing 787 and Airbus A350. Beyond maintaining Etihad's own fleet, it has grown a third-party customer base extending across Europe, Asia, Africa and Latin America, with carriers such as LATAM Airlines Group as a long-term client. The unit continues to expand hangar capacity and opened a new Technical Training facility, positioning Abu Dhabi as a regional MRO hub alongside other Gulf providers.
