Notable Exhibits
- North American NA-42 (FAH-21) — Described by the museum as the only surviving aircraft of its type in the world.
- Vought F4U-5N Corsair (FAH-609) — Flew combat in the 1969 "Football War" against El Salvador, among the last piston-fighter-vs-fighter combat engagements in history.
- Douglas C-47A/C-47B — Ex-Honduran Air Force transport aircraft.
- Lockheed T-33A — Jet trainer, part of the FAH historical fleet.
- Dassault Super Mystère B.2 — Former FAH jet fighter.
The museum sits directly on the grounds of Toncontín, long considered one of the world's more challenging commercial airports to land at due to its short runway and mountainous approach.
Its Corsair FAH-609 is tied to Honduras's only post-WWII air-to-air combat victory, in the brief 1969 war with El Salvador.
