Transport Options at SVX
Koltsovo Airport is connected to Yekaterinburg and the wider Russia transport network by multiple ground transport options.
The Koltsovo Express (Lastochka-type train) runs a couple of daily services to Ekaterinburg-Passenger, the main railway station, in about 40 minutes.
City bus route No.1 (about 65 minutes) and the faster express route No.01 (about 45 minutes) both run to the railway station area, roughly every 30 minutes through the day.
Official taxi stand outside arrivals, but pre-booking through Yandex Go (Russia's dominant ride-hailing/taxi app) is normally cheaper and more reliable than hailing at the curb.
Uber does not operate in Russia (it merged its Russian operations into Yandex years ago); Yandex Go is the standard app-based option.
A handful of local and Russian rental agencies operate on-site; most major Western international brands have withdrawn from the Russian market.
Western bank cards (Visa/Mastercard issued outside Russia) generally don't work due to sanctions — bring cash (rubles) or a locally-working card, and don't count on international card payment for a taxi, bus ticket, or SIM purchase on arrival.
