Shijiazhuang Zhengding International Airport is connected to Shijiazhuang and the wider China transport network by multiple ground transport options.
A dedicated shuttle bus connects the airport terminal directly to the Zhengding Airport railway station, which sits on the high-speed rail network — useful for onward travel to Beijing (under an hour) or other Hebei/North China cities without needing to go into Shijiazhuang city first.
Airport shuttle buses run to several city districts (Qiaodong, western district, southern district near the main railway station, and the eastern development area), each priced around CNY20 with roughly 40–50 minute journeys, departing every 30 minutes through the day.
Metered taxis operate from outside both terminal buildings; the one-way fare to downtown Shijiazhuang is around CNY100, with the trip taking 40–50 minutes depending on traffic.
Didi is the standard ride-hailing option in Shijiazhuang, as Uber does not operate in mainland China.
Rental counters exist but are limited; most visitors — largely domestic business travelers and those connecting via high-speed rail — rely on the airport's train and shuttle links rather than self-driving.
The direct rail shuttle to Zhengding Airport station is genuinely the fastest way to reach Beijing or other regional cities via high-speed rail — worth using instead of a taxi into Shijiazhuang if your final destination is elsewhere in the region.
