Gimhae is a modest, largely domestic-oriented airport already operating beyond its original design capacity; a new airport on Gadeokdo Island is under construction to eventually take over international traffic, but it isn't expected to open before the end of the decade.

There's no full-service hotel inside the terminal; layover travelers typically head into Busan proper or near Sasang station for a real hotel rather than staying airside.
