Transport Options at NGO
Chubu Centrair International Airport is connected to Tokoname and the wider Japan transport network by multiple ground transport options.
The Meitetsu Airport Line runs directly from the terminal to Meitetsu Nagoya Station: the μ-SKY limited express covers it in about 28–30 minutes (base fare plus a limited-express surcharge), while regular rapid trains take a bit longer for the roughly ¥890–980 base fare. The Japan Rail Pass is not valid on this line.
Airport limousine buses connect Centrair to various points across Nagoya and the wider Chubu region, useful if your hotel isn't near the Meitetsu line.
Taxis are available outside arrivals but are a costly option relative to the train given the distance to central Nagoya.
Uber's presence in Japan is very limited outside a few cities and mostly overlaps with licensed taxis; GO (Japan's dominant taxi-hailing app) is the more practical option.
