Transport Options at NAP
Naples International Airport is connected to Napoli and the wider Italy transport network by multiple ground transport options.
Alibus (ANM) runs a dedicated airport shuttle from outside arrivals to Naples Centrale train station and the port area (Piazza Municipio/Molo Beverello) in about 15–20 minutes, departing every 20–30 minutes; tickets can be bought onboard, at the airport, or via app.
Official taxi rank outside arrivals; Naples sets fixed flat fares for common destinations (e.g. Naples Centrale, the port) rather than relying purely on the meter — confirm the posted flat rate before getting in.
Uber's standard low-cost options aren't available in Naples, as in most of Italy; a licensed taxi is the standard option.
Rental desks for major chains are in the terminal; useful for the Amalfi Coast or Pompeii, though driving in central Naples itself is notoriously chaotic and better avoided by visitors.
Take the Alibus straight to Naples Centrale if you're connecting onward by train to Rome, Pompeii, Sorrento, or the Amalfi Coast — it's the simplest and cheapest way to bridge the airport and Italy's rail network.
