Transport Options at MRS

Marseille Provence Airport is connected to Marignane, Bouches-du-Rhône and the wider France transport network by multiple ground transport options.

Rail & Metro

A free shuttle bus (Lebus+ L13) links the terminal to Vitrolles Aéroport railway station in about 5 minutes, where regional TER trains reach Marseille Saint-Charles station in 15–20 minutes; combined tickets run around €6.20.

Bus & Shuttle

The direct Navette Marseille Aéroport (line 91) runs every ~20 minutes to Marseille Saint-Charles in about 30 minutes (€10 one-way, €16 return; discounted for children); line 40 connects to Aix-en-Provence TGV station in 30+ minutes (€10). Both stop directly outside the terminal.

Taxi

A rank sits outside arrivals; the roughly 27 km run into central Marseille (Vieux-Port) takes about 30 minutes and costs approximately €55, with fixed/indicative fares often posted at the rank.

Rideshare

Uber and Bolt both operate in Marseille and serve the airport, generally undercutting the taxi fare for the same trip when demand isn't spiking; pickup points are signposted outside arrivals.

Car Rental

Well served — all the major international chains (Hertz, Avis, Europcar, Sixt, etc.) have desks in the dedicated rental center a short walk/shuttle from the terminals.

Insider tip

The L13 shuttle-plus-train combo to Saint-Charles is usually faster and cheaper than the direct Navette bus once you account for connections, but if you're headed straight to the Vieux-Port or a hotel not near the station, the door-to-door Navette or a rideshare is simpler.
