Transport Options at MLA
Malta International Airport is connected to Valletta and the wider Malta transport network by multiple ground transport options.
Malta Public Transport's express routes run straight from the airport to the main tourist areas — X1 to Valletta, X2 to Bugibba/Qawra, X3 to Sliema/St Julian's/Paceville, and X4 to Mellieħa/Cirkewwa — all departing from stops just outside arrivals.
A dedicated Malta Airport Taxi booth in arrivals sells fixed, pre-paid fares by zone, which avoids any haggling or meter surprises.
Uber doesn't operate in Malta; Bolt does, plus the long-established local app eCabs, both commonly used and generally reliable at the airport.
