Transport Options at HRB
Harbin Taiping International Airport is connected to Harbin and the wider China transport network by multiple ground transport options.
No direct rail line serves the airport, but shuttle Line 1 runs 24 hours to Harbin Railway Station, connecting onward to the wider rail network.
Four airport shuttle bus lines run into the city (CNY 20 per ticket): Line 1 to the railway station area (24-hour service), Line 2 to Hexing Shangsha/Exhibition Center (6am–6pm, every 30 min), Line 3 to the Taiping Bridge area (6:30am–4:30pm, every 40 min), and a limited Line 4.
Metered taxis run roughly CNY 100 to the city center and CNY 130–150 to Harbin Railway Station, reflecting the airport's distance from downtown.
Uber does not operate in mainland China — DiDi is the standard app-hailing option.
Limited; most visitors rely on the shuttle buses, taxi or DiDi.
Harbin Taiping sits well outside the city, and winter weather (heavy snow and ice) regularly slows ground transport — build in extra buffer time on both ends of a Harbin trip, especially November through March.
