Hannover Airport is connected to Hannover and the wider Germany transport network by multiple ground transport options.
S-Bahn line S5 runs direct from the airport station to Hannover Hauptbahnhof (main station) in about 15 minutes, roughly every 30 minutes.
Local city buses also serve the airport, though the S-Bahn is the standard route into the city.
