Getting Around
How to get to and from Dubai International Airport — taxis, public transport, shuttles and car rental.
Transport Options at DXB
Dubai International Airport is connected to Dubai and the wider United Arab Emirates transport network by multiple ground transport options.
Dubai Metro Red Line — UAE Exchange or Emirates station for Terminals 1 and 3. No metro for Terminal 2. Journey to Dubai Mall approximately 45 min, AED 7 (~€1.90).
RTA buses to destinations across the city. Direct services to Dubai Frame and Global Village in season.
Approximately AED 60–90 (~€15–23) to Downtown Dubai, 20–35 min.
Careem and Uber both operate at DXB with designated pick-up zones.
All major firms in the arrivals hall. An international driving permit is recommended.
The metro serves Terminals 1 and 3 directly. Terminal 2 (Flydubai) has no metro link — allow extra time for a taxi or bus. A NOL card saves time at metro gates.
