Airport wifi here has a poor track record, so plan around it: buy a local SIM (Orange Egypt, Vodafone Egypt, Etisalat) at the arrivals kiosks in Terminal 2 or 3, or activate an eSIM (Airalo etc.) before you land — either is far more reliable than the terminal network.
Registration requires a code texted to your phone, and travelers repeatedly report it failing to arrive on non-Egyptian numbers — don't count on the free wifi actually working, especially in Terminal 1/2.
