Air Saint-Pierre was founded on 6 March 1964 by Albert Briand to connect the French overseas collectivity of Saint-Pierre and Miquelon, initially codesharing DC-3 flights with Eastern Provincial Airways before modernizing its fleet with ATR 42s starting in 1994.
Current Operations
The airline operates ATR 42-600 turboprops on scheduled routes from Saint-Pierre to several Canadian airports (including St. John's and Montreal) plus seasonal transatlantic service to Paris, and uses a Reims-Cessna F406 for short inter-island hops to Miquelon.
