FlyNordic

History

FlyNordic traces to a 1996 Swedish carrier (Reguljair, later Nordic East) that Finnair acquired and relaunched under the FlyNordic brand in 2003-2004, flying MD-80-series jets out of Stockholm Arlanda. Finnair sold the loss-making carrier to Norwegian Air Shuttle in 2007.

Current Operations

FlyNordic no longer exists as a standalone brand; Norwegian folded it into its own operations on 5 April 2008, absorbing its Stockholm Arlanda routes and MD-80 fleet into Norwegian's Swedish domestic network.
