History
Fuji Dream Airlines was established on 24 June 2008 as a wholly owned subsidiary of the Shizuoka-based logistics conglomerate Suzuyo & Co., and began commercial operations on 23 July 2009. It was created to boost regional connectivity in central Japan using a fleet of new Embraer E-Jets rather than the aging turboprops common among Japanese regional carriers.
Current Operations
Fuji Dream Airlines is active, flying a fleet of Embraer E170/E175 jets on domestic Japanese routes from bases including Shizuoka, Nagoya-Komaki, Fukuoka and Kobe. It maintains codeshare agreements with Japan Airlines and Hahn Air to extend its regional network's reach.
