Air North, Yukon's Airline was founded in 1977 in Whitehorse, Yukon, growing from a small charter and cargo operator into the territory's principal scheduled carrier, jointly owned today by CEO Joseph Sparling (51%) and the Vuntut Gwitchin First Nation's Vuntut Development Corporation (49%).
Current Operations
Air North operates scheduled passenger and cargo services linking Whitehorse with destinations across the Yukon, Vancouver and other Canadian cities, using a mixed fleet of ATR 42 combi turboprops and Boeing 737 jets (737-400/-500 and 737-800).
