TravelSky Technology is China's dominant air-travel and tourism IT provider, majority-owned by state-backed China TravelSky Holding Company and listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange (0696.HK) since 2001. It operates airline inventory-control and reservation systems, a next-generation Departure Control System, and e-ticketing/e-commerce platforms (including the Umetrip app), while giving travel agencies at more than 6,500 locations tools to search, price and book air and travel products. Through its 2016 acquisition of Dublin-based OpenJaw Technologies, it also owns a travel-retailing platform used by airlines such as British Airways and Cathay Pacific.
