In 2024, the company handled 247 million passengers and approximately 5 million tons of air cargo, and in April 2025 it significantly expanded its presence in the Middle East by expanding into 13 airports in Saudi Arabia. Taken over from HNA Group in 2020, Swissport is owned by an investor group led by its then-senior secured creditors.
