Overview
SpaceX's Starlink Aviation division, based in Hawthorne, California, provides low-Earth-orbit (LEO) satellite inflight Wi-Fi to commercial and business aircraft. Adoption has accelerated through 2025-2026, with dozens of carriers now flying Starlink-equipped aircraft; American Airlines announced in May 2026 that it would adopt Starlink for its mainline fleet, one of the highest-profile wins yet for the service.
