Overview
Originally launched in Chicago in 1929 as the "Official Aviation Guide of the Airways" and now UK-based, OAG supplies flight-schedule, status, and connection-time data used by GDS platforms such as Amadeus and Travelport as well as by airports and airlines directly. British investment firm Vitruvian Partners acquired OAG in February 2017, and the company continues to publish widely cited industry benchmarks including its annual Punctuality League airline and airport rankings.
