SITA to acquire Collins Aerospace's Airport Solutions business
SITA has signed an agreement to acquire Collins Aerospace's Airport Solutions business, covering check-in, self-service passenger processing, baggage-drop, and airport-operations technology — including the legacy ARINC MUSE common-use platform. The deal is expected to close in H1 2027, subject to customary closing conditions and regulatory approval. SITA CEO David Lavorel said the move extends SITA's offerings and deepens its understanding of airline, airport, and ground-handler needs; SVP Airports Nathalie Altwegg said it strengthens SITA's role as a trusted technology partner to airports.
