Shanghai's aviation and aerospace science museum, run by the Shanghai Aerospace Popularization Center, with a large open-air aircraft apron and three indoor exhibition halls on Chinese aerospace, the history of flight and the science of flying. A dozen full-size aircraft stand on the outdoor square, including a Douglas DC-8 whose cabin visitors can enter. Open 9 am–4 pm (last entry 3 pm), closed Tuesdays; adult ticket 8 yuan.

Indoor halls include a full-size space-station mock-up and flight simulators for visitors.
The Il-14 on display shares its type with the aircraft that carried Mao Zedong and Zhou Enlai as their special aircraft.
