Argentina's national aeronautics museum, run by the Fuerza Aérea Argentina (Argentine Air Force), was founded on January 13, 1960. It relocated in 2001 to hangars at Morón Air Base, where its collection of historic Argentine and foreign military aircraft is sheltered from the weather.

Notable Exhibits
- Pulqui I and Pulqui II — Argentine-designed and built prototype jet fighters of the late 1940s; the Pulqui II is considered the first swept-wing jet fighter developed in Latin America.
- Latécoère 25 (Laté 25) — A 1920s mail plane of the type flown by French aviator and writer Antoine de Saint-Exupéry for Aeroposta Argentina.
- Gloster Meteor F.4 — An early British-built jet fighter that served with the Argentine Air Force.
- Urubú flying wing glider — A tailless flying-wing glider designed by Reimar Horten, suspended from the museum ceiling.
The museum began at Aeroparque Jorge Newbery in Buenos Aires but moved to Morón Air Base in 2001 so its aircraft could be preserved inside hangars instead of being exposed to the weather.
