An open-air/converted-hangar air force museum owned by the Republic of China Air Force, located next to the Air Force base and Air Force Academy in Gangshan, Kaohsiung. Its roughly 3-hectare exhibition area covers ROC aviation history from early locally built aircraft through recently retired types, including fighters, trainers, presidential transports, and defector aircraft. Also referred to in some English-language sources (including Wikipedia) by an earlier name, the "Republic of China Air Force Museum" — the Kaohsiung city tourism board's own page uses "Aviation Education Exhibition Hall" as the primary name, which this entry follows.
- Chung-Mei (中美號) Boeing 720 — A presidential aircraft acquired in 1971; visitors can pay an extra fee to tour its interior.
- Mei-Ling (美齡) C-47 — A presidential transport that flew WWII Himalayan ("Hump") resupply missions before later VIP/training service until 1994.
- Three defector MiGs and an Il-28 Beagle — Flown to Taiwan by PLA defectors.
- F-86F and F-84G — The F-86F is credited with the ROC's 31:1 victory ratio in the 1958 Second Taiwan Strait Crisis; the F-84G was the ROC's first jet fighter.
