Aviation Museums › Commercial Aviation Heritage
Nepal's first museum dedicated entirely to aviation history, founded through a joint initiative of the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal, commercial pilot Captain Bed Upreti, and his trust. Uniquely, the museum is physically housed inside a decommissioned Turkish Airlines Airbus A330-300 — the same aircraft involved in a runway excursion at Tribhuvan International Airport in March 2015. It covers the full span of Nepali aviation history, from the country's first flight in 1949 to the modern jet age.
