Warsaw Chopin Airport is connected to Warsaw and the wider Poland transport network by multiple ground transport options.
SKM/Koleje Mazowieckie trains run directly beneath Terminal A to Warsaw Central Station and Old Town in 20-25 minutes for 3.40-7 PLN — generally the fastest and most reliable way into downtown Warsaw.
Bus 175 is the main airport-city route, running 4:27am-10:58pm for the same 3.40-7 PLN fare (a 75-minute ticket is recommended), taking 25-40 minutes.
Official taxis (ELE Taxi, iTaxi, MPT Taxi) operate directly outside Arrivals for 40-50 PLN, taking 15-25 minutes.
Uber, Bolt and Free Now all operate at WAW, typically 30-45 PLN — often cheaper than a traditional taxi for the same 15-25 minute ride.
Available from about 120 PLN/day; more useful for exploring Poland beyond Warsaw than for a city-only visit given good train/bus coverage.
At just 10km from downtown, the train beneath Terminal A is usually your best bet — it's both the fastest and one of the cheapest options, with none of the traffic risk a taxi or rideshare carries during Warsaw rush hour.
