Getting Around

Aeroexpress high-speed trains run from an underground platform at Terminal A to Kievsky railway terminal (with a direct interchange to Kievskaya metro station) in about 35 minutes; trains run roughly every 30–60 minutes, with tickets sold online, at machines, or on board.

City bus routes 611, 611C, and 611F run to Yugo-Zapadnaya metro station, along with minibus route 45m departing roughly every 10 minutes until around 22:30; all take standard Moscow transit fares (Troika card).

Official ranks operate outside Terminal A's first floor; a ride into central Moscow (around 30 km) typically runs 1,500–2,500 rubles and 40–60 minutes depending on traffic.

Yandex Go is the dominant ride-hailing app in Moscow and works reliably at Vnukovo, but as everywhere in Russia, foreign-issued cards have not worked since 2022 — you'll need cash or a Russia-linked payment method to actually pay for the ride.

A mix of international and Russian rental desks operate in the terminal, though sanctions have reduced which brands function normally for foreign visitors and complicated card payment and insurance.
