Getting Around
How to get to and from Lennart Meri Tallinn Airport — taxis, public transport, shuttles and car rental.
Transport Options at TLL
Lennart Meri Tallinn Airport is connected to Tallinn and the wider Estonia transport network by multiple ground transport options.
Tram Line 4 stops right at the terminal on the city side — about 17 minutes to the centre, running Mon-Sat 05:25 to just after midnight and Sun from 05:45 (€1 online, €2 from the driver). Bus routes 2, 49, and 65 also serve the airport, with bus 2 running roughly every 30 minutes to Viru Keskus (€2 from the driver). An AirportTransfer minibus (up to 6 passengers) runs for about €21.
A taxi stand is at arrivals; the short ~3km hop into the centre runs roughly €5-10. The airport recommends using officially appointed companies (such as Tulika Takso or Airport Taxi) to avoid overcharging.
Bolt, the Estonian-founded rideshare app, operates extensively in Tallinn and is readily available.
On-site car rental counters are available in the terminal (specific brands weren't individually confirmed in sources checked).
At only about 3km from the centre, this is by far the shortest and most reliable airport-to-city connection of all the airports added in recent waves — tram, bus, taxi, and rideshare all make it an easy trip.
