Getting Around
How to get to and from Skopje International Airport — taxis, public transport, shuttles and car rental.
Transport Options at SKP
Skopje International Airport is connected to Ilinden and the wider North Macedonia transport network by multiple ground transport options.
An Erak Transporter shuttle bus runs to Skopje for 199 MKD one-way, taking 30–40 minutes; departures follow the flight schedule rather than a fixed timetable, and tickets are sold 08:00–20:00.
Taxis cost roughly 20–25 EUR for the 25–35 minute ride into the centre and are the only option late at night; agree the fare before riding.
Neither Uber nor Bolt is confirmed to operate at Skopje — the airport shuttle or a taxi are the practical options.
No in-terminal rental desk list is confirmed; only airport parking rates (100 MKD for the first hour, 1,000 MKD/day) were found, so confirm rental availability with your chain in advance.
The Erak shuttle is by far the cheapest option if its schedule lines up with your flight; otherwise budget for a taxi, especially outside daytime hours.
