Best use of a long layover

Take Link light rail from the airport station into downtown Seattle (about 40 minutes) to walk through Pike Place Market.

Inside the airport

SEA has an Amex Centurion Lounge and an Alaska Lounge network across its concourses for food, drinks and showers, plus general seating areas throughout the Central Terminal; it does not have in-terminal sleep pods.

There's no hotel inside SEA's secure area, but the Skybridge Seattle Airport Hotel (Marriott-branded) connects to the terminal via a covered pedestrian walkway over the taxi lane — you'll need to clear security again on return since it sits outside the checkpoint.

The US has no international-to-international transit zone: connecting through SEA to another country still requires clearing full Customs and Border Protection at the International Arrivals Facility, so a valid US visa or ESTA/Visa Waiver Program eligibility is required, the same as entering the country.
Transit visa requirements vary by nationality and change frequently. Always verify with the official embassy or consulate of United States before travel.
