Getting Around
How to get to and from Chişinău International Airport — taxis, public transport, shuttles and car rental.
Transport Options at RMO
Chişinău International Airport is connected to Chişinău and the wider Moldova transport network by multiple ground transport options.
Express Bus 30 (06:00–23:00, about every 40 minutes) and Minibus 165 (05:45–22:00, about every 10 minutes) both reach central Chisinau in roughly 35 minutes for 6 MDL; pay the driver or on-board staff, and carry cash as a backup even where card machines exist.
Cash only, in Moldovan lei. Typical fares into the centre run roughly 100–150 MDL for a 20–40 minute ride (base fare around 50 MDL plus about 5 MDL/km); use an official taxi, check the price boards in arrivals, and confirm the price with the driver before setting off.
YandexGo is the main app in use — download it before landing, since pickup specifically at the airport can be less reliable. Uber and Bolt do not operate here.
Sixt has a confirmed presence at the airport per its own listing; other specific in-terminal desks aren't confirmed, so check availability with your preferred chain in advance.
Have Moldovan lei in cash ready — taxis and minibuses are cash-first here, and ATMs are available in arrivals if you land without local currency.
