Transport Options at RIX
Riga International Airport is connected to Riga and the wider Latvia transport network by multiple ground transport options.
Bus No. 22 runs from the airport (stop in the P1 car park between arrival exits C and E) into central Riga in about 30 minutes, every 10–20 minutes during the day; night bus No. 322 covers the route after hours, and minibus line 222 offers a faster, slightly pricier alternative with fewer stops.
Use only the official taxi rank or app-dispatched taxis (Bolt) rather than unmarked drivers who solicit inside the terminal — a ride to central Riga takes about 20 minutes.
Bolt operates widely in Riga and is the most common way locals and visitors get around, including to and from the airport.
All major international chains have desks in the terminal; useful for exploring the Latvian countryside or the Baltic coast beyond Riga itself.
Skip any driver who approaches you inside the terminal — use the official rank outside or book through Bolt; bus No. 22 is cheap, frequent, and the standard way locals get to the airport.
