Transport Options at OTP
Bucharest Henri Coandă International Airport is connected to Otopeni and the wider Romania transport network by multiple ground transport options.
A direct rail link runs from the airport to Gara de Nord (Bucharest North Station) in about 25 minutes, roughly every 40 minutes, for about 6.5 RON (~€1.20).
Bus 100 runs to Piața Unirii in the city center every 15–20 minutes (weekdays roughly 6am–11pm), taking 40–50 minutes, for about 3 RON (~€0.60); tickets are bought from red vending machines, by contactless card on board, or via the STB/24pay app.
Use the designated yellow ticket terminals in the arrivals hall to book an official taxi rather than accepting offers from touts; expect roughly €12–25 to the city center.
Uber and Bolt both operate reliably in Bucharest and are generally the recommended option for a hassle-free, fixed-price airport transfer.

The direct train to Gara de Nord is the fastest and cheapest way into central Bucharest — take Bus 100 only if your hotel is nearer Piața Unirii, and use Uber/Bolt rather than hailing a curbside taxi to avoid overcharging.
