Nanning Wuxu is one of the ports on China's 240-hour visa-free transit policy, which covers onward travel within 12 Guangxi cities including Nanning, Liuzhou, and Guilin — but only for passport holders from the eligible countries (roughly 55 as of late 2025) who hold a ticket onward to a third country/region within the 240-hour window. Without that, or without a Chinese visa already in hand, plan to stay airside. The eligible-country list and port rules have been expanded and revised more than once, so verify your nationality and itinerary actually qualify before relying on it.
Transit visa requirements vary by nationality and change frequently. Always verify with the official embassy or consulate of China before travel.
