Transport Options at MIA
Miami International Airport is connected to Miami and the wider United States transport network by multiple ground transport options.
The MIA Mover automated people mover connects the terminal to the Miami Intermodal Center (MIC), where Metrorail's Orange Line runs south through Downtown Miami to Dadeland South, with connections to the Green Line for northwest destinations.
Miami-Dade Transit buses also depart from the Miami Intermodal Center (MIC), reachable via the MIA Mover.

Uber and Lyft operate with designated pickup points — first level for arrivals, second level for departures. Check your app for the exact door assignment, as these can change.
All major rental companies operate from the Rental Car Center, reached via the MIA Mover from the terminal.
If your hotel is on Miami Beach rather than Downtown/Brickell, factor in that Metrorail doesn't reach the Beach directly — a taxi, rideshare, or hotel shuttle is usually the more direct option.
