Getting Around
How to get to and from Techo International Airport — taxis, public transport, shuttles and car rental.
Transport Options at KTI
Techo International Airport is connected to Phnom Penh (Boeng Khyang) and the wider Cambodia transport network by multiple ground transport options.
A direct rail link to central Phnom Penh is planned but, per a 2025 report, still a couple of years away — not available now; bus/shuttle options are mentioned by the airport itself but without published routes or fares.
Standard taxis are available with an approximate fare of USD 10–20 depending on the drop-off, per the airport's own site; use official counters rather than unmarked cars.
Grab, WowNow, and PassApp are all confirmed operating at this airport.
Euro Car is the airport's listed rental partner, with a counter in the Arrival Hall; rates vary by drop-off and duration.
This airport is genuinely farther from Phnom Penh than the old one it replaced — about 20–28km and over an hour by road, versus roughly 30 minutes from the old in-city airport. Budget extra time accordingly.
