JR Haruka limited express runs from the airport station directly to Tennoji (~30 min), Shin-Osaka/Osaka (~45-50 min), and on to Kyoto (~75-80 min); foreign-visitor discount tickets bring the one-way fare to roughly ¥1,200-1,800 depending on destination (regular fare is higher). The Nankai Rapi:t limited express reaches Namba in about 34-37 minutes for roughly ¥1,500-1,700. Cheaper local/rapid JR and Nankai trains also run to Osaka/Namba in around 60-70 minutes for under ¥1,000-1,300.

An extensive airport limousine bus network connects KIX directly to Osaka Station/Umeda (~60 min, roughly ¥1,800), Namba/OCAT (~45-50 min, roughly ¥1,300-1,600), and further afield to Kyoto, Kobe, Nara and other Kansai cities; useful for travelers with heavy luggage since seats and under-bus storage are guaranteed.

Metered taxis to central Osaka (Namba/Umeda) typically run roughly ¥15,000-20,000 and take 45-60 minutes depending on traffic; a late-night surcharge (around 22:00-05:00) adds roughly 10-20%. Fixed-fare options from some operators (e.g., MK Taxi) can be booked in advance.

Uber operates in the Kansai region but functions mainly as an app to hail licensed taxis rather than private drivers, so pricing and availability are similar to a regular taxi rather than offering a cheaper alternative.

Major Japanese and international rental agencies have counters in the Aeroplaza building connected to Terminal 1; pick-up typically involves a short walk or shuttle from the terminal.
