Nanchang Metro Line 1's north extension reached a Changbei Airport terminus in June 2025, giving a direct metro ride into central Nanchang. A separate high-speed rail station at the airport (on the Changsha–Nanchang–Jiujiang corridor) is under construction, with a planned opening around 2027 — it is not open yet, so don't count on it for now.

Bus & Shuttle

About eight shuttle bus lines connect the airport to downtown Nanchang (Nanchang Railway Station, Jiangdian parking lot, Trilec Hotel, and the West Bus Station among the stops) and to nearby cities like Jiujiang and Jingdezhen, with fares from around 15 CNY.

Taxi

Metered taxis are available at the official rank outside arrivals, roughly 80–100 CNY to central destinations like Bayi Square.

Rideshare

Didi operates in Nanchang, generally requiring a Chinese phone number to book.
