Transport Options at IBZ
Ibiza Airport is connected to Ibiza (Eivissa) and the wider Spain transport network by multiple ground transport options.
The AERO bus network serves the airport: AERO2 runs to Ibiza's bus station via Sant Jordi, AERO3 is the more direct Airport Express into Ibiza Town, and AERO5 heads to Platja d'en Bossa and Ses Figueretes; two more routes (AERO1 to Sant Antoni/Sant Josep and AERO4 to Santa Eulària/Cala Nova) were added from 2026. Frequency and hours are heavily seasonal, thinning out sharply outside May-October.
Official taxi rank outside the terminal, well used given Ibiza's nightlife/resort traffic — expect queues at peak summer arrival and departure banks.
Extremely popular given the island's spread-out resorts and nightlife venues — book well ahead for summer, when fleets sell out and prices spike.
If you're arriving outside peak summer season, don't assume the AERO buses are running as advertised — frequencies drop drastically or routes suspend altogether in winter, so a taxi is often the only realistic option.
