Broward County Transit Route 1 connects the airport's rental car center to Aventura Mall (with onward transfers) for about $2, roughly every 20–30 minutes.

Taxi

Metered taxis queue outside baggage claim at each terminal; a ride to downtown Fort Lauderdale runs about 15 minutes.

Uber and Lyft pick up from designated zones between Terminals 2–3 and at Palm Garage level 1.
