Boston Logan International Airport is connected to Boston and the wider United States transport network by multiple ground transport options.
The MBTA Blue Line's Airport station connects to all terminals via a free shuttle bus, linking you into the broader subway network — useful if your destination is along the Blue Line or needs an easy transfer to the Orange/Green Lines downtown.
The Silver Line SL1 bus is completely free from the airport to South Station, taking about 20 minutes with buses every 10 minutes — one of the only free airport-to-downtown transit links at a major US airport.
Metered taxis queue at each terminal; fares to downtown typically run $15-25 including the $2.75 tunnel toll, for the roughly 15-25 minute ride depending on traffic.
