Austin Bergstrom International Airport is connected to Austin and the wider United States transport network by multiple ground transport options.
CapMetro's Route 20 (Manor Rd/Riverside) runs every 15–30 minutes, seven days a week, reaching downtown Austin in about 35 minutes for a $1.25 fare — it's not really built for travelers hauling luggage, and frequency trails rideshare. An overnight Route 483 also runs midnight–4 a.m.
Available curbside, though less commonly used than rideshare given Austin's strong Uber/Lyft culture.
Uber and Lyft have dedicated, clearly marked pickup zones and are by far the most common way to and from the airport — a roughly 15–20 minute ride downtown outside of rush hour.
A large, consolidated Rental Car Center sits on-site, a short walk or shuttle from the terminal, with all the major companies represented.
Skip the bus and just use Uber or Lyft unless you're traveling light — Austin doesn't have a train link to its airport, and rideshare is fast, predictable, and the way most locals and visitors actually do this trip.
