An airport shuttle bus runs to Place Audin in central Algiers roughly hourly; fare is cited around 100 DZD, making it the cheapest option, though schedule reliability can vary — verify current timetable locally.

Official taxis rank at the terminal and run 24/7. Fares are commonly cited in the range of roughly 800–1,200 DZD to the city center depending on source and direction (return legs are sometimes cheaper than outbound due to airport pickup surcharges). Meters are not reliably used by all drivers — agree the fare before you or your bags get in, and avoid touts approaching inside the terminal who charge a premium over rank taxis.

Yassir is the dominant, well-established ride-hailing app in Algiers and works at the airport (pickup typically arranged at the departures level); fares are generally quoted lower than metered street taxis. Heetch and iTAXI also operate in Algiers with smaller footprints. Uber is not available in Algeria.

Several international and local car rental companies operate at the airport, some with 24-hour desks, though specific brand presence (Hertz, Avis, etc.) varies — book ahead online where possible.
