History
Air Caraïbes was formed in 2000 through the merger of Air Guadeloupe, Air Martinique and other Caribbean operators, building on a predecessor company founded in 1994. It launched long-haul transatlantic service to Paris in 2003 through its Air Caraïbes Atlantique subsidiary and has remained majority-owned by Groupe Dubreuil.
Current Operations
Air Caraïbes operates ATR 72 turboprops on inter-island Caribbean routes from its Guadeloupe and Martinique bases, alongside Airbus A350-900/1000 widebodies on long-haul flights to Paris-Orly and other transatlantic destinations.
