LAM Mozambique Airlines (Linhas Aéreas de Moçambique), sometimes marketed internationally as Mozambique Airlines or Air Mozambique, is the state-owned flag carrier of Mozambique, tracing its origins to the colonial-era DETA (Direcção de Exploração dos Transportes Aéreos) which was reorganized as LAM after independence in 1975.
